Multi Select
Multi-selection combobox. Chosen options become removable chips; the chevron stays pinned on the right and the chips truncate rather than reflowing the control.
Basic
Many selections overflow
With several values selected the chips truncate and the chevron never shifts.
States
Disabled and invalid. disabled dims the field, chips included, and blocks input.

Accessible name for the search input. Required when there is no visible `<label>` for this field.
Points at an existing visible label's id, as an alternative to `aria-label`.
Extra classes merged onto the input.
Paints the error state. Pair with `FormField`'s `error` for the message.
Text shown while nothing is selected.
Minimum control height, matching `Input`, `Select` and `Button` at the same size. Default "md".
Also accepts everything from Omit<React.ComponentPropsWithoutRef<typeof import("@base-ui/react/combobox").Combobox.Root<MultiSelectItem, true>>, "items" | "multiple">.
